Academic research is vitally important, when the need to provide for alternative solutions to problems in athletics. The words in which we espouse, write or publish gives support to our reasons of what we have researched, is more important than the idea. The research of multiple variables assists in our ability to demonstrate that their are more ways to address the problem versus using vested interest leverage, title status or financial reasons to prove the thought in which you believe is better than any academic research. Without academic research and investigative academicians, then we fail our student athletes, coaches and college football fans.
Below is a PowerPoint Presentation link, that provides exhaustive, historical, longitudinal, qualitative and quantitative analysis of the research that I have been performing on the the topic of the college football playoff expansion to 16-Teams since 2007. This is my continuous research of how to address the college football playoff problem at the FBS level. Within the presentation are analytical data points with words from my published research. By clicking on the link, another window will pop open. Taking you directly the presentation. To all the sports media members, you cannot say that you did not know this was available. I have been publishing on my blog page for 10 years now.
The Commissioner of the Southeastern Conference, Greg Sankey is now trying to develop multiple models of playoff proposals to the rest of the conference commissioners. All to sway their thoughts that his ideologies of being the only proposals to be considered. The underlying narrative of Greg Sankey is determining which proposal sticks with other members. All while maintaining his Hedonistic approach to the the solution with Democritus values. What the other conference commissioners and athletic directors do not see what is right in front of them; is that every model or proposal that Greg Sankey espouses, each model serves only in the best interest for the SEC and the members of the SEC for greater access, financial gains and notoriety. The SEC desires to control every detail of the next phase of the college football playoffs and the landscape of how college football at the FBS level should operate. Greg Sankey is basically daring someone to challenge him and his rule of leadership on the decision making associated with the college football playoffs.
It is incumbent upon the sports media outside of the SEC and ESPN, Directors of Athletics of the other 120 FBS members of college football, 9 Commissioners with Notre Dame, and the fans to take a stand and stop Greg Sankey and the SEC from total control of the next phase of the college football playoffs. To all of the FBS, I have your backs in support of a significantly better solution to the problem. I can answer all of your questions that you may want to address.
I would embrace an open debate, either on television or radio, to all and any media members about the subject of the college football playoff expansion to 16-Teams. I will embrace discussing the subject matter with any commissioner, ESPN media member and FBS athletic director anytime. I can justify my answers to any of your questions. Just remember a debate is back and forth. Like a tennis match, serve and volley with aces and forehand winners down the side line or at the baseline.
Furthermore, the start of my research dates back to Fall of 2007. I continue to collect data and evaluate the landscape of college football at the FBS level. I possess the copyrights to the 16-Team Playoff idea and concept since 2013 and continued publication in 2016. My published research and publication provides a significant playoff model that is inclusive, not exclusive to the playoff model by power brokers like Greg Sankey and the SEC.
I am available for interview either by phone or in person. Along with on-site presentations at academic institutions for athletic administration programs in the fall.
